What does the script do? Simulates a "depth" effect of sprites and character events when they are in the water. When the character is close to the shore, the water will remain at the ankles, but as it moves away from the river / beach shore, the water level increases.

When the player is completely submerged, a Switch (choice of the developer) is activated to indicate that he is submerged. It is still possible to obtain the depth to which the player is using a database variable. The terrains where this effect occurs are defined by tags in Tilesets or regions of the map.

Observe how bathers are at different depths depending on the distance from the coast. The three that are on the left side of the map in the marked regions have their depths defined regardless of their distance from the margin..
